Péter Magyar: Partidul Tisza este „bucuros să se alăture" Partidului Popular European

The Tisza Party in Hungary aims to join the European People's Party after the EU concludes Article 7 proceedings against Hungary, as announced by Prime Minister Peter Magyar. Following a meeting with Manfred Weber, Magyar expressed optimism about Hungary's future relations with the EU, emphasizing the end of negative campaigns funded by public money. Weber acknowledged the challenges posed by anti-Hungarian sentiments and supported Hungary in avoiding daily fines related to refugee policies. Magyar reiterated Hungary's commitment to border control and plans to seek reimbursement for previous fines in upcoming EU budget negotiations. He will also meet with European Council President Antonio Costa to discuss the future EU budget.
