Peter Magyar cere de la Ucraina măsuri concrete în privinţa drepturilor maghiarilor din Transcarpatia, în procesul de aderare la UE

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar emphasized that Ukraine must ensure the rights of the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia before new EU accession clusters can be opened. He noted that a political agreement was reached in June regarding the rights of Hungarians, but concrete measures have yet to be implemented. Magyar compared Ukraine's situation to Serbia, which has made slow progress in its EU accession process despite having a significant Hungarian population. He argued that it would be unfair for Ukraine to advance in EU membership faster than other candidate countries that have met criteria for years.
