The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, approved an increase in the spending limit for the Ministry of Labor by 1.058 billion lei to ensure payments in September 2026. Most of this amount, 1.03 billion lei, is allocated to the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection for compensating energy costs. This funding aims to facilitate timely payments to energy suppliers and prevent economic disruptions caused by delayed reimbursements. Additionally, 28.964 million lei is designated for the National Authority for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities to cover transport rights for severely disabled individuals. Nazare emphasized the need for fiscal responsibility and maintaining liquidity in the economy to support private sector growth.
