Peste un kilogram de bijuterii de aur, ascunse în două perne, descoperite la Vama Giurgiu

Border police in Giurgiu seized 1.1 kilograms of jewelry resembling gold, valued at approximately 660,000 lei, hidden in pillows in a car from Moldova. The vehicle was stopped during a routine check, driven by a 37-year-old Moldovan woman traveling from Turkey to Moldova. She could not provide documentation for the jewelry's origin. The items were confiscated for further investigation and expertise. A criminal case has been opened for offenses related to smuggling and illegal possession of goods subject to customs regulations.
