More than half of the tickets for the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia have been reserved, with Romania among the 24 participating teams. 1.3 million tickets have been booked by fans from 164 countries, with remaining tickets now on sale. Prices start at 40 Australian dollars for adults and 20 for children. Romania secured its qualification in February 2025 and will compete in a challenging group alongside South Africa, Italy, and Georgia. The tournament will take place from October 1 to November 13, 2027, featuring 52 matches and a new knockout stage format. The event marks Australia's first Rugby World Cup in over two decades, celebrated with the opening of the official competition headquarters in Sydney.
