Peste 83.000 de persoane au traversat frontiera României în ultimele 24 de ore

In the last 24 hours, over 83,000 people crossed Romania's border, with authorities reporting 91 illegal acts and fines exceeding 20,000 lei. The border police processed approximately 83,600 individuals and over 14,700 vehicles, focusing on entries and exits from Romania's external borders. Since the conflict began, more than 16 million Ukrainians have entered Romania. Recent checks included over 15,700 verifications using the eDAC application, as Romania prepares for the elimination of systematic border controls with Hungary and Bulgaria starting January 1, 2025. Authorities confiscated goods worth around 1.2 million lei and denied entry to 31 foreigners not meeting legal requirements.
