Peste 80.000 de cazuri de infecţii respiratorii raportate în România în perioada 28 septembrie-4 octombrie

During the week of September 28 to October 4, 2026, Romania reported 80,193 cases of respiratory infections, a slight increase from the previous year. The number of clinical flu cases rose to 210, with seven severe acute respiratory infections reported. Laboratory confirmation included one case of influenza A. Vaccination efforts showed 79,330 flu vaccinations recorded, primarily for eligible populations. No flu-related deaths were reported during this period.
