The Ministry of Finance has announced the opening of a funding application session for investment stimulation in the processing industry, with over 750 million lei available. Companies can apply for financing starting October 15, 2026, for projects requiring a minimum initial investment of 10 million euros. This funding mechanism aims to boost domestic production and create jobs, as part of a broader economic recovery program. The total budget for the program is 5.313 billion lei, and applications will be accepted online for 30 working days. The initiative targets both existing companies and new enterprises, focusing on reducing import dependency and enhancing local production capabilities.
