Peste 70% din energia electrică importată de Energocom în luna august a fost achiziționată din România și Ucraina

In August 2026, Energocom purchased 297,420 MWh of electricity, with 21.64% from local production and 78.36% from imports, mainly from Romania and Ukraine. The average purchase price was 156.80 euros/MWh. Local renewable sources contributed 20.3%, while the rest came from bilateral contracts and the Day-Ahead Market. Since July 1, 2026, purchases are made through competitive mechanisms, focusing on peak hours, affecting average prices.
