Several spa resorts in five counties of Romania have been revitalized through over 6 million lei in investments funded by the Ministry of Economy. The investments focused on expanding tourist facilities, acquiring medical equipment, and modernizing infrastructure. The aim is to enhance the attractiveness of spa tourism and ensure local communities benefit economically. The projects included nine funded initiatives in various resorts, with a total investment exceeding 12 million lei. The support covered up to 50% of eligible expenses, excluding VAT. Future modifications to the funding scheme are planned to better meet entrepreneurs' needs and streamline the application process.
