In the last 24 hours, Romanian police have confiscated over 500 driving licenses, with significant numbers for speeding and alcohol violations. They conducted 481 operations nationwide and responded to nearly 3,000 incidents, mostly reported by citizens. Additionally, 14 wanted individuals were apprehended, and numerous fines were issued for various infractions. The police emphasized their efforts to enhance road safety, noting a rise in traffic-related offenses and the withdrawal of many vehicle registrations.
