Peste 5.800 de arbori tăiați ilegal, descoperiți în Pădurea Slătioara

The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, announced the illegal logging of over 5800 trees in Slătioara Forest, Brașov. Legal actions will be initiated by the Forest Guard for the theft of more than 1000 cubic meters of wood. The forest was recently designated as a forest fund, enhancing its legal protection. Buzoianu emphasized the need for local authorities to include unprotected forests in the forest fund to prevent further illegal logging.
