Peste 5.250 de companii au intrat în insolvenţă în primele nouă luni ale anului
In the first nine months of 2026, over 5,250 companies entered insolvency, marking a 12% increase compared to the previous year, according to CITR's analysis. The rise in insolvencies is particularly notable among larger companies, with those having assets over 4 million euros more than doubling. Agriculture and construction sectors saw the highest increases in insolvency cases, while trade and manufacturing experienced declines. The North-East region reported the most significant growth in insolvencies, with Bucharest remaining the main center. The increase in insolvencies among large firms poses risks to suppliers and the broader economy, highlighting the need for preventive restructuring measures.
