Peste 5.000 de panouri fotovoltaice la cel mai tânăr aeroport din România. Investiția depășește 31 de milioane de lei

Over 5,000 photovoltaic panels will be installed near Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport as part of a project worth over 31.8 million lei, enhancing the airport's energy independence. The financing contract was signed on September 7, with a total project cost of approximately 6.4 million euros, including a non-repayable grant of over 21 million lei. The solar park will feature 5,432 panels with a maximum capacity of 3 MW and a 6 MW energy storage system. This initiative aims to reduce energy costs and environmental impact by utilizing green energy for airport operations. Currently, the airport is preparing the procurement documents for the project.
