Peste 400.000 de angajați ai statului riscă să rămână cu salariile înghețate. Ce prevede noua lege • Newsweek România

A new salary law may freeze the wages of over 400,000 public sector employees in Romania for several years. Current estimates suggest that 33-35% of state employees earning above the new salary grid will face wage stagnation until their salaries align with the new scales. Approximately two-thirds of these employees work in education, health, public order, and defense. The total number of public sector positions is around 1.272 million, with 420,000 to 445,000 potentially affected. The salary law is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which has faced delays due to budgetary concerns.
