Peste 36.000 de studenți din medii dezavantajate au primit burse sociale în perioada februarie-iulie
Over 36,000 students from disadvantaged backgrounds received full social scholarships between February and July, according to the Ministry of Education. The financial support was provided to students from 44 state higher education institutions in Romania, totaling nearly 157 million lei. The scholarships aim to alleviate financial barriers and support students in continuing their studies, thus helping to prevent university dropout. In addition to financial aid, beneficiaries had access to webinars on relevant university life topics, including learning techniques and time management. These sessions also led to practical guides for students, enhancing their academic journey. The initiative is part of a project aimed at systemic measures to reduce university dropout rates, co-financed by the European Social Fund and the national budget.
