Over €359,000 from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund will be redirected to support Romanian beekeepers. This funding aims to finance strategic interventions and compensate local beekeepers for losses. The funds will be allocated for purchasing beekeeping equipment, queen bees, and bee colonies. The Ministry of Agriculture has published a draft order for this reallocation, which is part of the 2023-2027 CAP strategic plan. Payments are expected to be made by October 15, 2026, to eligible beneficiaries. The initiative aims to fully utilize available funds and cover more eligible expenses for beekeepers.
