Peste 350 de căsătorii cu minori, descoperite într-o regiune din Germania. O fetiță de 11 ani a fost căsătorită cu un adolescent de 17 ani

In Baden-Württemberg, over 350 marriages involving minors have been officially recorded, including cases of very young girls married to older boys. The data, revealed by a parliamentary request, shows that these marriages often occurred abroad and were later recognized by German authorities. Notably, one case involved an 11-year-old girl married to a 17-year-old boy, which was annulled in 2020. Despite the alarming statistics, only eight marriages have been annulled through court decisions since 2018. The regional government has implemented measures to combat forced marriages, but challenges remain in protecting minors. The legal marriage age in Germany is 18, and new regulations have been introduced to safeguard minors in such situations.
