In Sibiu, over 250 priests from Transylvania gathered for professional training courses focusing on Christian family pastoral care. The courses, organized by the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, began on September 21, 2026, with 126 priests enrolled for certification and others for various professional degrees. The opening ceremony included a Te Deum service led by a group of priests and was attended by the Metropolitan Archbishop Laurențiu. He emphasized the importance of these courses for professional development and community service within the Orthodox Church, highlighting this year's theme of family pastoral care. Participants will engage in liturgical practice and share pastoral experiences, fostering professional and spiritual growth among clergy.
