Peste 240 de copii au ajuns la Urgență în București în doar șase luni după accidente cu trotinete electrice, 10% cu leziuni foarte grave

Between March and August, 242 children were treated for injuries from electric scooter accidents at "Grigore Alexandrescu" Hospital. Over a third required hospitalization, with about 10% admitted to Intensive Care due to severe injuries. Most patients, 61%, were aged 10 to 15, while 8% were under 10. Injuries varied from head trauma to orthopedic issues, necessitating various surgical interventions. Doctors noted that adolescents seem to be more cautious with electric scooters, with 70% of the injured being boys.
