In August, the Brașov Forestry Guard conducted 138 operations, resulting in over 187,000 lei in fines and the confiscation of 228 cubic meters of timber. They identified 59 contraventions and a significant illegal logging case involving 16.21 cubic meters. The operations included checks on the SUMAL 2.0 system, with 779 transactions executed. Additionally, 14.5 cubic meters of timber were handed over to forestry structures due to excess tolerances. The agency also carried out 168 actions related to hunting regulations, leading to three contraventions and fines totaling 2,500 lei.
