Peste 210 milioane de euro pentru cercetători. Comisia Europeană vrea să atragă mai multe talente în Europa

The European Commission is allocating over €210 million to support more than 700 researchers and PhD candidates in building their careers in Europe. This funding is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), aimed at enhancing the EU's position as a global hub for scientific talent. Ursula von der Leyen emphasized the importance of this initiative for fostering a supportive environment for researchers. The funding comes in response to a high demand for research career opportunities, with a record 21,627 applications for postdoctoral fellowships in 2026. The budget for MSCA will reach unprecedented levels, with projections indicating support for over 1,800 researchers by 2027.
