Peste 200 de oameni încă scandează în fața arestului central

Călin Georgescu was placed in preventive detention for 30 days on September 29, accused of forming an organized criminal group and fraud. Following his arrest, around 200 supporters gathered outside the central detention facility, chanting slogans in his favor. Georgescu had previously been detained for 24 hours on similar charges related to a business fraud case involving a loss of 1.1 million euros. After a court initially placed him under judicial control, prosecutors appealed, leading to his preventive arrest. The decision was made after a divergence in opinions among judges at the Court of Appeal.
