Zărnești is advancing its infrastructure with a project to expand water supply and sewage networks, covering several streets and the Brebina area. The technical documentation is currently under review by the Brașov County Environmental Directorate. The plan includes over 7,150 meters of water pipes and 10,439 meters of sewage lines, facilitating access for hundreds of properties. Additionally, 82 fire hydrants will be installed for emergency services. The sewage expansion will also include three pumping stations and will serve various streets, addressing both existing and new housing developments. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance local infrastructure.
