Over 100 artists from Romania and abroad are showcasing their work at the UZUC factory in Ploiești for the fifth edition of Artown NOW. This unique venue transforms into a temporary museum, highlighting the creative process itself. Artists utilize materials from the factory to create sculptures and installations, giving the site a new identity. The project emphasizes the importance of UZUC as a cultural hub, with a history of over 120 years. The (CONtra)TEMPORARY Museum will be open until September 12, featuring guided tours and public engagement with the artists. The initiative is supported by various partners, including the Ploiești City Hall, aiming to establish UZUC as a cultural landmark.
