Nearly 2,000 aggressive drivers have been penalized by the Romanian Traffic Police following citizen reports through the e-SAR application. This initiative, operational since October 27, 2024, allows citizens to report aggressive driving behaviors, leading to 1,912 sanctions issued in a year and eight months. The majority of complaints were recorded in Bucharest, with significant numbers also from Iași and Timiș. The penalties include fines and the temporary suspension of driving licenses. Citizens can submit reports via the e-SAR platform, which requires user registration and detailed information about the incident.
