Perioadele de muncă din alte state, recunoscute pentru lucrătorii mobili din UE

The National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) supports the modernization of social security coordination rules in the EU, emphasizing the need for workers' rights to keep pace with labor market changes. The European Parliament and Council have amended key regulations to enhance clarity, equity in financial responsibilities, and reduce bureaucracy. Notably, unemployment benefits can now be exported for up to six months, and workers with short employment periods can access benefits from their residence state. The reform also strengthens the recognition of insurance periods across member states and clarifies rules for equal treatment of EU citizens. BNS advocates for simplified access to social rights, ensuring that workers do not lose their rights when working abroad. Implementation in Romania will require aligning national legislation with these new EU norms.
