Pericolul pentru Reactorul 2 de la Cernavodă nu a trecut. Barjele scufundate în Dunăre pot fi dislocate
The risk to Reactor 2 at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant persists despite increased water levels from interventions on the Danube. Irinel Scrioșteanu, a state secretary, warns that submerged barges for redirecting water flow could be moved by currents, potentially undermining the operation's effectiveness. Ongoing efforts aim to ensure more water reaches the plant's sector. The water level has risen by eight centimeters, allowing for an estimated additional flow of 50 cubic meters per second towards Cernavodă. The plant operates normally, but any displacement of the barges could impact water supply. The government allocated seven million lei for these interventions.
