Percheziții în București: vârstnicii erau păcăliți cu „tratamente” și obligați să ia credite pentru dispozitiv • Newsweek România

Police conducted searches in Bucharest related to a scheme targeting elderly individuals, who were misled into believing they needed expensive medical devices. The suspects, posing as health centers, offered free health evaluations and falsely diagnosed various conditions. Victims were pressured into purchasing overpriced products, often taking out personal loans facilitated by the suspects. The main suspect, Traian Cîmpanu, along with accomplices, operated under the names "Reviva Wellness" at two locations. Five search warrants were executed, leading to the identification and questioning of the involved parties, as investigations continue under the supervision of the local prosecutor's office.
