Percheziții în București și 11 județe după violențele de la protestul violent din 15 septembrie din fața Guvernului

On Wednesday, police conducted 21 home searches and executed 21 arrest warrants related to violent incidents during the September 15 protest in Victoriei Square. The farmers who organized the event distanced themselves from the violence. The police are investigating offenses such as public incitement, assault, and public disorder. The operation involves various police units and is coordinated by the Bucharest Tribunal's Prosecutor's Office. The searches are taking place in Bucharest and several counties. During the protest, some participants allegedly committed acts of violence against gendarmes and journalists, and damaged police property. So far, 38 preventive measures have been taken, including arrests and house arrests, as investigations continue to determine individual responsibilities.
