Police in Arad have opened a criminal case for tax evasion against a company and its administrator for conducting mining activities without a license. The investigation revealed that from 2022 to 2025, the company operated a gravel pit illegally and sold mineral aggregates without issuing fiscal receipts. On September 4, 2026, authorities executed 11 search warrants in Arad and Bihor, targeting commercial premises and residences of suspects. Evidence was seized to support the ongoing investigation, supervised by a prosecutor from the Arad Tribunal.
