Percheziții DNA la Constanța la o firmă care asigura mentenanța navelor NATO. Ar fi facturat servicii fictive de peste 1 milion euro

Prosecutors from the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) conducted searches in Constanța related to a case of tax evasion, fraud, and money laundering involving a company providing port services for NATO military vessels. The targeted firm, S.C. Global Defense Logistics S.R.L., is linked to Gabriel Daraban, brother of the president of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce. The investigation is part of an international operation supported by Eurojust, with arrests and searches also taking place in Norway and Germany. The company allegedly issued fraudulent invoices for services to NATO ships, with estimated damages exceeding one million euros. There are suspicions of bribery of foreign public officials for preferential treatment in contracts with NATO's Support and Procurement Agency.
