Pentru 314.000 de români, echilibrul dintre muncă și familie se pierde pe drumul de acasă la serviciu

A study reveals that for many Romanians balancing work and family is hindered primarily by long commutes rather than work schedules. Approximately 314,000 individuals face challenges due to the distance between home and work, with construction and industry workers being the most affected. The issue is more pronounced in rural areas, where over half of those with caregiving responsibilities cite distance as a major obstacle. Despite these challenges, few individuals change jobs or work arrangements, with only 10% making adjustments. The findings highlight the significant impact of commuting on family life for many Romanians.
