A new law limits these pensions to 75% of the last salary and gradually raises the retirement age. Meanwhile, the average pension for parliamentarians is around 6,285 lei, with a substantial part funded by the state. Other groups, such as aviators and court staff, also receive high pensions. In contrast, the average contributory pension for regular citizens remains at 2,821 lei, showing no increase from the previous month.
