The majority of investments are domestic, with over 90% in government bonds and stocks. Government bonds alone account for 61.6% of total assets, while stocks make up 30.6%. Contributions in July 2026 totaled 2.01 billion lei, with an average contribution of 437 lei. The system has over 8.5 million participants, and funds are regulated under Law 411/2004.
