Pensii aproape duble pentru unii vârstnici din Ungaria. Péter Magyar anunță noul prag minim

The Hungarian government plans to increase the minimum pension to 120,000 forints starting January 1, 2027, benefiting many elderly citizens. Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced this decision, stating that some pensioners could see their incomes double. This pension increase is part of a broader social package aimed at low-income seniors, which also includes eliminating VAT on prescription medications and reducing VAT on firewood. The TISZA program aims to improve living standards for the elderly, with additional pension increases and annual support for eligible retirees. Details of further commitments will be shared after final decisions are made.
