Pensia medie în România: doar 2.785 de lei

As of September 2026, Romania had 4,674,614 pensioners, a decrease of 2,725 from the previous month. The average pension was 2,785 lei, totaling 13.02 billion lei in pension rights. Among these, 503,353 worked in agriculture with an average pension of 708 lei. The majority, 3,778,651, retired at the legal age, with an average pension of 3,119 lei. Additionally, 58,144 received early pensions averaging 2,423 lei, while 388,541 were on disability pensions averaging 1,071 lei. Survivor pensions were granted to 449,193 individuals, averaging 1,511 lei, and 85 pensioners received social assistance averaging 542 lei.
