Pensia femeilor cu copii: reduceri și condiții
Women who have completed their contribution period and raised children until the age of 16 can benefit from a reduction in the standard retirement age under Law no. 360/2023. The reduction varies based on the number of children, including adopted ones in certain cases. For each child, the retirement age can be reduced by six months for one child, one year for two, and more for families with multiple children. The early pension is adjusted based on the advancement of retirement and the contribution period. However, this reduction does not persist once transitioning to the standard retirement pension. Applicants must provide documentation proving childbirth and child-rearing, including for adoptions. Thus, the mechanisms for reducing retirement age and eliminating early pension reductions are distinct, requiring individual assessment of contribution periods and applicable age.
