Pensia din două țări: Cum se cumulează anii lucrați în România și în străinătate și ce acte sunt necesare • Știri Brașov Biz Brasov

Romanians who have worked in both Romania and other EU countries can combine their contribution periods for pension eligibility. Each country calculates and pays its share based on local laws, and pension payments may start at different times due to varying retirement ages. The process, known as "community pensions," applies to those with insurance periods in Romania and other EU states, including Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. Applicants must submit specific documents to prove their work history, especially for periods before April 1, 2001. The pension amount from each country is calculated separately, and individuals can request a review of their pension if they have worked in multiple countries.
