This decision followed a plea agreement with prosecutors regarding his participation in the improper removal and destruction of official records. He is also required to perform 40 hours of community service. The case emerged after an investigation revealed that around 2,500 kg of official documents, including sensitive information, were illegally destroyed by burning. The court emphasized the serious nature of Drăghici's actions, which undermined public trust in the preservation of official documents.
