Pe picior de plecare, ministrul Irineu Darău dezvăluie o afacere cu albume turistice, care ar fi păgubit statul cu milioane de lei
Minister Irineu Darău revealed a scandal involving missing tourist albums purchased by the state in 2006, leading to a potential loss of millions. Only 34,395 out of 75,000 albums paid for have been accounted for, with the rest allegedly sold online by the producer. Following a control report, Darău has referred the case to the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) for investigation. The issue highlights broader mismanagement of tourism promotional materials, with significant stock remaining unutilized since 2017. Darău emphasized the need for accountability and proper inventory management to prevent future losses of public funds.
