Pavilionul central al Spitalului de Psihiatrie Sibiu, modernizat cu peste 79 de milioane de lei prin PNRR

The Sibiu Psychiatric Hospital, the first of its kind in Southeast Europe, is undergoing significant modernization with record investments. The central pavilion has been fully rehabilitated using European funds. Established over 160 years ago, the hospital remains a priority for the Sibiu County Council, treating patients from the entire region and hosting a neuroscience research center. The modernization project, valued at over 79 million lei, was initiated by the County Council and implemented despite challenges. Raluca Turcan expressed confidence in the completion of this investment, highlighting the unprecedented pace and value of recent improvements at the hospital.
