Patru voluntari au petrecut 365 de zile izolați de lumea exterioară, într-o simulare a vieții pe Marte. NASA anunță când se încheie experimentul

Four NASA volunteers completed a year-long isolation in a habitat simulating Mars conditions, focusing on resource management and health impacts. They cultivated plants and conducted simulated activities while maintaining delayed communication with the outside world. The CHAPEA Mission 2 aimed to prepare for future lunar and Martian explorations by studying the effects of isolation and limited resources on crew performance. The crew will exit the habitat on October 31, 2026, after 378 days, reuniting with their families following the experiment.
