Four paintings by Pierre-Auguste Renoir were stolen from the artist's museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Police recovered two of the artworks abandoned in the museum's garden, while the thieves escaped with the others. The theft occurred early in the morning, with the alarm triggering at 5:48 AM. Surveillance footage captured the suspects, who fled upon police arrival, leaving behind two bags. The stolen paintings include "Madame Colonna Romano" and "Jeune femme au puits," while the recovered ones are "Madame Pichon" and "Coco lisant." An investigation is underway to locate the suspects and assess the total value of the stolen artworks.
