Patru state din UE vor deblocarea exporturilor de animale

Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Croatia aim to enhance collaboration on animal disease management and trade restrictions. This initiative was discussed by Romania's interim Agriculture Minister, Tánczos Barna, with his counterparts during an EU agriculture ministers' meeting in Dublin. The countries agreed to support each other in addressing challenges in the livestock sector, particularly concerning sheep farming. Barna emphasized the need for EU regulations on animal disease prevention to be scientifically based and for flexible application of trade restrictions. He also highlighted the importance of research and innovation in livestock development and called for proportional rules regarding animal transport. The meeting focused on strategies for animal husbandry and the EU's protein plan, advocating for sufficient funding for farm modernization and irrigation systems.
