Patronul unui restaurant cu stele Michelin riscă închisoarea. Ce insecte a folosit pentru desert? • Newsweek România
A Michelin-starred restaurant owner in South Korea faces a year in prison for using ants as dessert garnish, which are not approved for human consumption. Prosecutors also seek a fine for the restaurant. The owner admitted to serving ants but claimed it was a small part of the menu. Investigators found that around 49,000 ants were used over four years, with high levels of heavy metals. The court will decide on September 2.
