The Confederation of Employers Concordia has established a permanent office in Brussels to enhance the influence of Romanian businesses in European policy-making. This strategic move aims to ensure that the experiences of companies from Romania are considered before legislative decisions are finalized. Led by Adelina Dabu, the office will facilitate dialogue between Romanian interests and major European decision-making networks. Key areas of focus include EU budget policies, simplification of regulations, labor market rules, energy pricing, and support for Romania's OECD membership. The initiative seeks to transform local economic signals into actionable proposals at the European level, encouraging Romanian companies to engage actively in European affairs.
