He highlighted the Church's commitment to peace, especially regarding the Ukraine conflict, and the support provided to Ukrainian refugees. Barnes expressed admiration for Romanian faith and traditions, while both discussed contemporary societal challenges, including youth issues. The meeting included the U.S. Ambassador to Romania and other officials.
