The project to extend Metro Line 3 towards Chiajna, led by Metrorex engineer Georgel Simion, has made significant progress. A funding request for the feasibility study has been submitted to the Ministry of Transport. An agreement for the necessary association protocol has been reached, and Metrorex is preparing documentation for the feasibility study procurement. The study is expected to take 26 months once the contract is signed. Public consultations will be held during the project's development. The extension will connect to Militari Residence and Bragadiru, with various options for implementation.
