Pasajul Basarab intră în prima reabilitare majoră: Lucrări complexe de consolidare și modernizare fără oprirea traficului

The Basarab Passage, opened in 2011, has never been officially received by the Municipality. Unitip Global is now finalizing rehabilitation works worth approximately 57 million lei, focusing on restoring structural components while keeping traffic flowing. The project includes complex technical interventions to enhance infrastructure resilience. Works commenced in early summer to minimize traffic disruptions, with over 110 workers mobilized. Completed tasks include replacing expansion joints and resurfacing, while ongoing efforts focus on the metal deck's functionality and aesthetics. The project aims to improve road quality and safety, featuring new asphalt, clear road markings, and modernized lighting. These rehabilitation efforts are crucial for the Municipality's official acceptance of the passage after 15 years.
